I have some good news for anyone who wants to make money from home. You have an opportunity to earn money online by blogging. Okay, now I can almost hear the chorus of people saying that they have not time to blog. However, this is a non-issue because you will not actually be writing your own blog. 2. Some rudimentary knowledge about how to set up a WordPress blog. WordPress itself will actually not cost you a dime, plus it is actually quite simple. Furthermore, WordPress does an excellent job of providing support through its website and forum.

3. The WordPress autoblog plugin. This is what makes the magic happen. You will come across several plugins, both commercial and non-commercial. Which plugin is best for you will depend upon your requirements. I have used free (non-commercial) plugins, and have experienced no problems. Generally, a plugin with be accompanied by reviews of current users. My suggestion is the choose the free plugin with the highest rating. It takes about one to two minutes to download and install a plugin. Very simple.

Once you have set everything up, you are ready to make money from home with a blog which will automatically publish relevant content. So how do you monetize your blog? There are a few things that you can do. You can place Google Adsense on your website, which is what many like to do. Otherwise, you can sell advertising space, which is another popular choice. Still others like to promote their affiliate products with their blog. Whatever you decide to do is entirely up to you. There is no right or wrong.

One of the more popular things to do in the blogging and make money online world these days is to set up an autoblog. If you search the keyword autoblog, you will find sprinkled throughout the results, a tutorial here and there about setting up autoblogs. This post is actually a follow up to one of my previous posts which was a tutorial on setting up autoblogs and making money with AdSense.

When I wrote the article, I was focusing mainly on the technical aspect of setting up the autoblog so as to provide a guide for bloggers to set up these types of blogs as a means of supplemental content.

In this post, I am highlighting the importance of adding unique content to autoblogs. Why is this important?

Simple. It is the only way your blog will ever rank in the search engines, such as Google. Let me explain why.

It is the job of all search engines to deliver the most relevant content to it’s customers (i.e. you and me). For a search engine to be able to do this, it must constantly spider any and all web pages that it is aware of and index them as quickly as possible. Whenever it finds and catalogs unique content, be it from the original source initially, or from a link path, it will serve that content (the content from the ultimate original source) first.

What does this mean?

It means that if a person sets up an autoblog scraping an RSS feed from another blog, news site or whatever source, the domain scraping the content will get zero credit for it and rightly so. The scraper did not write the content, it only scraped and served it. Why would a search engine serve an autoblog to it’s customers when it can serve the original unique version to them? Clearly, it wouldn’t and shouldn’t.

Many webmasters think that an autoblog is something that one can set and forget. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. If it did work that way, we would all just be setting up autoblogs everyday and monetizing them.

As it stands, autoblogging can, however, serve a purpose. That purpose is as a supplement, a supplement to your existing unique content which you must add occasionally.

What does unique content accomplish?

Unique content establishes your blog or website as an origin of information. Once you are identified as an origin of information, your site will be spidered on a regular basis so as to check for fresh content, perspective and/or information. Remember, search engines pride themselves on having the most up-to-date, most relevant query data available. The faster they index your unique content the better. On the average, this blog is spidered within 60 seconds of posting unique content and pinging Google. If all they (search engines) ever see when they come to your site is regurgitated, scraped content, then they will never serve it to their customers and you will never appear in the search results. Additionally, for this reason, you will not make a dime.

By adding unique content, you will give the search engines a reason to send people to your site. Once visitors arrive, if they find something useful, they may bookmark your site and return on a regular basis. Ideally, they would add your RSS feed to their reader and visit very regularly.

If your blog or website is to become a trusted source of information for your regular visitors, autoblogging, in addition to unique content, can be a welcome addition. Adding links to syndicated posts with small excerpts (that are related to your niche and that provide useful related information) will benefit your readers. Remember, it is all about adding quality to your site.

So, in review, unique content must be added to autoblogs. That is the only way search engines will serve them. The purpose of autoblogging is to give the traffic you do drive to your site and that is sent to your site via search engines more informational options. This concept is very similar to “re-tweeting” for those of you who are familiar with Twitter. Whenever somebody re-tweets, they are themselves, serving useful information to their followers. Again it is all about being a quality resource.

While the majority of my sites are autoblogs, I have noticed something recently. I have a few sites with a good amount of original content, in the form of articles that I wrote myself, and some with a mixture of my own content and content from the UAW plugin. I’ll be honest; these sites with some original content do out perform my straight autoblogs in terms of income.

Now, just writing original content isn’t enough to get you love from Google. This is Google’s mantra, but it’s basically a crock of bovine excrement. I recently read a post from Michael Grey where he outlines how he created fantastic content over a six-month period, even making it to the front page of Digg five times, and he still received very little love from Google.

So what’s the best approach then? Autoblogging, or writing unique content? How about a combination of the two?

Create some autoblogs, wait 2-3 months to wait for the site to break out of the Google dance, and note from Awstats in your server what your most viewed pages are. Then, from the data you’ve received from Awstats, do some additional research into those search terms and check out what your competitors are doing in terms of getting those same keywords to rank. Now, armed with this data, go ahead and write some original content for your site. You won’t have wasted a bunch of time and effort writing articles about keywords that no one has any interest in. Or keywords that have a lot of interest, but they don’t convert into sales, because visitors are only looking for free information about that keyword.

If you are super lazy, you don’t even have to write the unique content. Just use the keywords you found from your Awstats that are getting Google love, and use them to add additional posts to your site with your autoblogging plugin. I did this for one site in July, and my AdSense earnings doubled for the site where I used this strategy.

Of course, it goes without saying that when you find your winning pages and add content for that keyword, it won’t do you much good if you don’t implement a serious back linking campaign. Don’t go crazy and try to back link every page on your site, just the ones that show promise in terms of page views and earnings.

Implement this strategy, and watch your earnings rise.

Private messaging is a way for a member of the forum to send an email to another member, without having to post it for everyone to read.

Once people got familiar with the internet, they decided to express themselves in a bigger way, like creating their own web sites. Many people started their own personal web sites. The subject of these sites varied from their lives to the lives of their pets. Although most of these sites weren’t being created for public consumption, they were still on the internet. People took great pride in building and maintaining their own web sites. The personal web sites were a great tool for families that lived far apart to stay in touch. Talking on the phone is fine, but pictures bring you closer.

The latest internet craze is called blogging. Blogging is basically an online diary. Just like a normal diary, people write down what’s happening in their daily lives, but it’s posted online. There are places online where you can start blogging for free. Blogs started slowly but gained popularity. What has spurred on the latest growth of blogs is that many famous people, from politicians to athletes, have their own blogs. Of course, the more famous you are, the greater the chance of people reading your blogs. And you can have more than one blog.

The blog is just another in a long line of internet creations, to keep people coming online. Just when it looks like there are no more ways to communicate online, another way comes along. Sharing information is the fuel that makes the internet go and people like sharing their thoughts and views. Today it’s the blog, but tomorrow there’ll be some other way to communicate on the internet.

These three guys do have an impressive resume between them and I am sure that whatever Auto Content Cash actually turns out to be then it will be nicely presented and probably well thought out.

My problem is that there is already a huge number pages, articles and posts proclaiming this to be the next best thing to sliced bread. How is that possible? Auto Content Cash is not released yet. How can any of the posters and article writers make these wonderful statements when they presumably haven’t even tried the product?

Do not get me wrong, Brian Johnson has a record for producing good stuff. I am not singling him out but I have no experience of the other guys. I have invested in his Commission Ritual program with great results and I was truly impressed with the work that went into the product. I was skeptical of the sales page then but another guy I know recommended it and so I took a chance and now I am glad I did.

Commission Ritual is a system that is logical and planned out, if you want a map to producing money making websites then Commission Ritual is it, it was not a auto content cash system that produces tons of cash with no work.

From what I have read Auto Content Cash promises to be exactly that and for that reason I have my doubts. The days of build a website and let it bring you money are gone. Google for one knows that these sites are little more than thin affiliate sites with no new content and for that reason they will ultimately fail.

I say “Good luck” to Brian, Alex and Jared but I for one will not be buying your product. If you want to make money online then you would be better off investing some time and money in yourself and not buying another “Make cash on autopilot” scheme.
